A celeb is a person who is more popular in a given society and commands a degree of public and media attention. The phrase is derived from the Latin celebritas, from the adjective celeber ("famous, " "celebrated"). Being a celebrity is often one of the highest degrees of notability, although the word notable is mistakened to be synonymous with the title celebrity, popularity, prominence etc. As in Wikipedia, articles written about notable people doesn't actually synonymize them as a celebrity.Superstar refers to the popularity and public attention allowed by the media to individuals or groups or, occasionally, animals, but is usually put on the folks or groups of men and women (celebrity couples, families, etc. ) themselves who receive such a status of fame and attention. Celebrity status is often associated with wealth (commonly known as celebrity and fortune), while celebrity often provides opportunities to make money.Although the term "celebrity" is often meant to label famous individuals, it is also commonly used to refer to anyone who has had any moderate public attention in media, regardless of how well-known they are beyond their niche.Successful jobs in sports and entertainment are commonly associated with celebrity status;[3][4] while political leaders often become celebrities. Persons may also become superstars due to media attention on their lifestyle, prosperity, or controversial actions, or for his or her connection to a famous person.
