A celeb is a person who is widely recognized in a given society and commands a degree of public and media attention. The phrase is extracted from the Latin celebritas, from the adjective celeber ("famous, " "celebrated"). Being a celebrity is often one of the highest degrees of notability, although the word notable is mistakened to be synonymous with the title celebrity, popularity, prominence etc. As in Wikipedia, articles written about notable people doesn't necessarily synonymize them as a celebrity.Celeb refers to the celebrity and public attention approved by the media to individuals or groups or, occasionally, animals, but is usually placed on the people or groups of folks (celebrity couples, families, etc. ) themselves who receive such a status of fame and attention. Celebrity position is often associated with wealth (commonly termed as fame and fortune), while fame often provides in order to make money.Although the term "celebrity" is often intended to refer to famous individuals, it is also widely used to refer to anyone who has had any moderate public attention in media, regardless of how well-known they are beyond their niche.Successful jobs in sports and entertainment are commonly associated with celebrity status;[3][4] while political market leaders often become celebrities. Persons may also become superstars due to media attention on their lifestyle, riches, or controversial actions, or for their connection to a famous person.
